The Elevator Industry Safety Summit is an opportunity for individuals from all over the elevator industry come together in the interest of fatality prevention and rider safety and develop ideas for the future of the elevator industry.

The event will begin on Sunday evening with registration and a two-hour evening reception. Monday the 22ndwill be a full day of safety presentations and personal safety messages from industry leaders. There will be dinner and dancing that evening. Tuesday will include more presentations from industry safety experts and after lunch, a selection of working group members will be tasked with helping to develop standardized safety practices. These standard safe work practices will help mitigate the risk associated with daily elevator worker’s tasks and be used to develop a program to help educate the elevator and escalator riding public.
